Seriously, folks, I’m a bit on the witless side of things tonight. Forgive my lack of title.
Let’s get straight to the to-do list:
Pencil at least 2 pages of Chapter 4Done! Actually penciled 4 pages, this weekend. Woot!
- Draft introduction 75%
Finish webpage revampClose enough to call it done for now!
- Finish new header art 50%
Weekends have become my prime drawing time and 2 pages per day appears to be the feasible limit. Of course, I’ve had a few good weeks in a row so I really shouldn’t be surprised that my tendonitis has flared up again. C”est la vie. Time to dig out the wrist braces and take a night or two off so I can be back to sketching strength on Saturday.
The site revamp is practically done. Just a few tweaks here and there and the new header. But if you read this only through RSS, head over to the site and take a look.
Speaking of the header, it’s sketched but needs some refining before inking and digital post. The introduction is well begun but still has a few sections to go (don’t worry, they’re short sections).
One thing that occurred to me as I was writing the first draft was this:
If you don’t know how to cook, you’re at the mercy of others for your nutritional needs–you’re subject to the whims of producers who are more concerned with the bottom line than good, healthy food. It’s like rolling the dice to decide what’s on your plate.
Think about it for a second.
And I’ll see you next week with another progress update.
